ABOUT

Monzu Fishing Co. was established in 1970 by father and son; Nicolo (pictured above) and Pietro (Peter) Monzu, who are 4th generation fishermen.  Peter spent his adolescent days fishing in the french riviera and then returned to his home town with Nicolo, a small fishing town called Torrenova in Sicily Italy.  Nicolo then migrated to Australia with the family and Peter and Nicolo became local cray fisherman in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Seafood is and always has been a part of the Monzu Fishing heritage.

Nicolo spent his last fishing days in June 1999 and passed away in February 2000.

Peter has been supplying local Western Rock Lobster (also known as Crayfish) to local restaurants and retail shops and continues to work in the seafood industry.
